사랑의 떡국 나눔으로 겨울이 ‘훈훈’

원불교 이리교당 교도 홍성철씨는 12월 23일(금) (사)솔솔송 자원봉사대에서 운영하는 무료경로식당에서 관내 어르신들에게 떡국 한 그릇으로 따뜻한 정을 나눴다.

사랑의 떡국 나눔 행사는 홍성철씨가 자녀의 생일을 맞이하여 지역 복지시설에 후원을 하고자 마련한 것으로 가족이 함께 손수 떡국을 끓여 연말연시를 맞아 외롭고 어려운 독거노인 100여명에게 따뜻한 떡국을 대접하고 훈훈한 정을 나누었다.

홍성철씨는 “앞으로도 지역사회에 헌신 봉사하고 이웃과 더불어 사는 따뜻한 온정의 손길을 지속적으로 펼쳐 서로 돕고 살아가는 사회를 만드는 데 일익을 담당하는 자녀가 되도록 노력하겠다”고 말했다.
